Printing Process

How does it work?

3D printing is achieved using an additive proces, where successive layers of plastic are laid down in different shapes.

A 3D model is built using CAD software. Exported to popular STL format it is preprocessed and transfered to Pirx. Voila! Ready to print!


Filament of heated thermoplastic polymer is squeezed out like toothpaste from a tube. The model is produced by extruding small beads of material to form layers.


The desired object is printed layer after layer until it is complete. Ta-da! You have just produced something using your own personal factory. Enjoy!

Yes. Printer comes assembled and everything is included - software, cables, power adapter and a bit of bonus plastic as well! You can start printing immediately.

Don’t worry. We will supply you with a detailed tutorial on how to install software, download or even create digital designs. Remember that you can contact us and we are always there to point you in the right direction.

That’s the best part. We have BIG plans. World peace, colonization of Mars, controlled nuclear fission, universal constructor, nanobots, you name it!

But we have to start small so we have already begun to work on a marketplace for digital designs integrated with our devices and our software.

We are also looking at the next 3D printing technology to come - projector-based stereolitography.

We have put our hearts into the 3D printing movement. Sure, we want to make money but we also want to be fair to our customers. Most of the 3D printers out there are horribly overpriced and there is nothing innovative or great about them.

We sincerely want to build the best machine ever - and we want everyone to be able to use it. Progress is expected only when technology is widely applied. We like progress. A lot.

Keep in mind that improvements in manufacturing technology open many doors for future inventions. We love when imaginary technologies from sci-fi movies come true. That’s why.
